Abdullah Gül University (AGU) Youth Factory held a Professional Development Activity (PDA) activity as part of the Erasmus+ Youth Accreditation program between 28 July 2025- 07 August 2025..
The activity, held at the AGU Sümer Campus, attracted 49 youth workers and young people from Portugal, Spain, Romania, Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Slovakia, Moldova, and Türkiye.
On the first day of the program, introductory and socialization workshops were held, providing an opportunity for participants from different countries to mingle. Later in the activity, workshops focused on the European Green Deal, the environmental and climate policy roadmap announced by the European Union in 2009, and the impact of this agreement on various countries were discussed. Activities supported by creative drama techniques aimed to raise awareness about environmental awareness and the green transition. The activity also included a networking session to explore potential inter-institutional partnerships.
The activity, centered on the theme of green transformation, focused on sustainable methods, and with the support of the participants, a training program focused on green transformation was developed for young people. Participants also prepared videos in their own languages to raise awareness about the European Green Deal and to use them in the visibility and dissemination activities of the project.
