The seminar titled 'How Did the Art of Painting Begin in the Ottomans?' was held online with the participation of Art Historian Habibe BEKTAŞOĞLU in partnership with Kocasinan District Directorate of National Education.
In this seminar, which was held online on March 27, 2023, the emergence of the Ottoman period depictions (book pictures explaining the texts), the production adventures and the establishment of the Ottoman Palace Nakkaşhanes were discussed. The effect of artists coming from Europe after the conquest of Istanbul on local art was also discussed.
