CULTURE AND ART MEETING

Abdullah Gül University (AGU), United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and Afghan Refugees Solidarity and Assistance Association (ARSA) jointly organized the "Culture and Art Meeting" program at the Sümer Campus Rectorate Conference Hall.

The program featured the performance of the ARSA Association music group, coordinated by Afghan Refugees Solidarity and Assistance Association President Dr. Zakira Hekmat, a video screening of joint projects by Mehmet İlgü Primary School and ARSA Association, a Zeybek dance show, and performances by children and youth from international solidarity groups.

The program, which aims to support migrant communities, contribute to integration processes and strengthen solidarity in the fields of education and culture, was hosted by AGÜ Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Erk Hacıhasanoğlu, Kayseri Provincial Directorate of Migration Management Harmonization and Communication Working Group President Selim Sökmen, Protection Desk Interview Officer Özge Gülmez, Kayseri Provincial Directorate of National Education representatives, academics and students from Washington, Berlin, Boğaziçi and Koç universities, local institution representatives, teachers and migrant communities attended.

In addition, certificates were given to migrant women who successfully completed literacy courses as part of the program. An exhibition of migrant women's artistic productions was also opened to visitors as part of the "Culture and Art Meeting".
