Between May 4–6, 2026, in cooperation with Abdullah Gül University, Kocasinan District Directorate of National Education, Kocasinan Guidance and Research Center (RAM), and Gevher Nesibe Special Education Practice School, educational, social, and sports activities were carried out for students within the scope of “Disability Awareness Week” as part of the “Engelsiz Dokunuşlar V” project at Gevher Nesibe Special Education Practice School.
On the first day of the program, a rhythm workshop was organized with the participation of 35 special education students. Throughout the activity, students engaged in rhythm exercises and enjoyed a pleasant and fun experience.
On the second day, an ebru (paper marbling) workshop was conducted with 35 special education students. The students were introduced to one of the traditional Turkish arts and had the opportunity to create their own marbling artworks.
On the third day, zumba and aerobics sessions were held at a fitness center, contributing to the students’ physical and social development.
On May 7, 2026, during the end-of-year event and exhibition program, works prepared by teachers, students of Gevher Nesibe Special Education Practice School, and university students were presented to the participants. Following the performances, the program was successfully concluded.
