3 DECEMBER WORLD DISABLED DAY - COLORS OF LIFE

3 December World Disabled Day, which has been celebrated by the United Nations since 1992 to raise awareness on the disability, was celebrated with a program organized at Abdullah Gül University (AGÜ).

The program, organized jointly by AGÜ and Kocasinan District Directorate of National Education, was held at Rectorate Conference Hall in the Sumer Campus.

Students from Emel Tarman Visually-Impaired Primary School, Gevher Nesibe Special Education Practice School, Şehit Yiğitcan Çiga Special Education Practice School, Hacı Mustafa Postaağası Special Education Vocational School and Kocasinan Special Education Vocational High School attended the program.

The program in which special education students performed mehteran, folk dance, pantomime shows, sang local folk songs and read poems, was watched with admiration by the guests.

The celebration program was attended by Kocasinan District Governor İlhan Abay, AGÜ Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Erk Hacıhasanoğlu, Kocasinan District National Education Director Erkan Çiçek, Kocasinan RAM Director Hayri Altun, school principals, teachers, students, parents and many guests followed.
